This nationally recognized course Perform CPR. This course satisfies the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. Qualification is taken from the HLT Health Training Package.

How will you learn?
The specific topics covered by the course include:
- Chain of survival
- Assessing the situation
- Performing CPR
- Demonstrating the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Care of the collapsed, unconscious person
- Special techniques for children and infants
- CPR in special circumstances
- Infection control
- Reporting procedures
Participants will be assessed through the demonstration of practical
- practical skills,
- participation in role plays,
- analysis of case studies and a,
- written quiz.
On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued
with a Statement of Attainment: Perform CPR HLTAID001
You will be required to perform 4 minutes of CPR on a manikin placed on the floor
